Episode 07 “Woman” at a glance:
This episode focuses very little around Shinkurou, and more about Tamaki, the flirtatious university student in his apartment complex, and the Kuhouin family. Tamaki takes Murasaki to the university with her and gives her a lesson on men and how to deal with them. However, as you meet some of the people that Tamaki knows on campus, it becomes clear that she carries a lot of insecurities, emotional baggage and is very violent, making it hard for her to keep a boyfriend. While her and Murasaki are leaving a store, someone sees Murasaki and reports it to her father. For the last parts of the episode, Kure-nai shows more of the twisted relationship that the father had with Murasaki’s actual mother and how she ended up killing herself. Now Murasaki’s father is sending someone to retrieve Murasaki, but I don’t believe he knows about Shinkurou yet (just Yayoi).

Episode 06 “A Light Probably Shines Over Your Head” at a glance:
A talent scout comes by Shinkurou’s apartment complex with a strange proposition: for them to put on a musical as a building and sing/act in it. Strangely enough, Shinkurou’s two neighbors and Murasaki are more than willing to participate. As pitch problems continue, the search for the female lead singer drags Yuuno and even Yayoi into the performance.

Episode 05 “Wish” at a glance:
Shinkurou and Murasaki head to Yuuno’s place for some extra martial arts training. Murasaki plays, very roughly, with Yuuno’s little sister Chizuru and her toys. Yuuno and Shinkurou do some pretty intense fighting for a while until Shinkurou goes and has a talk with his master, Yuuno’s father. He tells Shinkurou that Yuuno’s conflicted between being a woman and being part of the Houzuki line of killers. Back at home after a tiring day, Shinkurou and Murasaki finds the neighbors in their room, and all four of them kick back and enjoy some food.

OP: “Love Jump” by Minami Kuribayashi
I’m not such a huge fan of this OP. It’s not the music that turns me off, but the style of artworks just freaks me out a little bit. It’s like puppet versions of the Kure-nai characters done in Flash. This isn’t to say that I particularly like the style of art in Kure-nai, but theres something about the OP animation that just irks me.
