And so it begins… the four of us head off to California.
Our flight leaves for Los Angeles in a couple hours and I’ve got to say we’re pretty excited. Myself plus Rho, Kazeryu and JMPspin are all going to be attending AX for the full duration, and we hope to see you there. Leave a message if you wanna get in touch.
Throughout the event, we’ll be giving updates whenever we have a time to gasp for air and take a rest. Our hotel is the closest one to the convention center, so feel free to drop in if you give us prior notice XD.

In Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine and The Anime Insider, it has been confirmed that the samurai and ronin action manga, Blade of the Immortal will become an anime series starting this summer. It will be directed by Koishi Mashimo, and produced by Bee Train. This saga involving historical action, drama, revenge, philosophy, as well as excellent art by Hiroaki Samura is a masterpiece in many aspects, and is one of my favorites.

While browsing around the other day, I came across a news article about Bleach: Memories of Nobody coming to America on June 11 & 12. Viz Media and National CineMedia’s “Fathom Events” are teaming up to bring this Japanese release to the large numbers of American fans in over 300 different theatres. Although I’m glad that anime in America is still on the rise, I’ve got some major beef with this movie.
