Episode 08 “Yearning Campus Life!?” at a glance:
It’s college time at Itazura na Kiss and Naoki and the class F girls are all going to be going to the same school. Although Naoki won’t be taking the same classes as Kotoko, she takes the time to visit him at his classes. Alas, A CHALLENGER APPROACHES! Matsumoto Yuuko is a bright and talented student at the university who has her eyes set on Naoki. To try to join the same club as Naoki, Kotoko follows him to the tennis club where she joins even though she has no prior experience with tennis. She may have bit off more than she can chew however, because it seems the tennis club may be more than she can handle.

Episode 07 “Teasing Kiss” at a glance:
The day of graduation is upon Kotoko and Naoki, and she’s determined to prove to Naoki that she is not worthless, but rather someone amazing that he could love. Her plans, needless to say, all fail because of her clumsiness and Kin-chan’s incessant love gestures that ultimately get him nowhere. When Naoki makes a fool of Kotoko in the middle of a graduation party, she shows all of class A and F a picture of him dressed in girl clothes as a kid. When he pulls her outside, she says that she’s through with loving him and is going to forget about him. Then Naoki kisses her to make a “lasting impression” that she won’t forget anytime soon and he walks off.

Episode 06 “Chocolate, an Exam, and a Jinx” at a glance:
Although Kotoko got into college, Valentine’s Day and Naoki’s exams for Tokyo U are approaching. Determined to help him with at least one, she tries to make him chocolate, but doesn’t give it to him because she starts to have an upset stomach and thinks its from her cooking. Everything she does to help only seems to backfire on Naoki, perhaps stemming from his “terrible fortune” that he got at the New Year.

The story thus far…
Ever since they entered highschool, 3rd year female Kotoko Aihara has always secretly admired the handsome and most intelligent student in the nation, Naoki Irie. Although she was placed in the bottom class, she fantasized about one day being with him. His true cold and harsh nature (this guy is a major douche) shows through when he flat out rejects her. In a strange twist of fate, the Aihara house gets destroyed in an earthquake and Kotoko and her father move in at his good school friend’s house until the two can repair their house. Coincidentally, her father’s good school friend happens to be Naoki’s father.
Although Naoki and his little brother are unbearably cruel to her, Kotoko can not help but to continue admiring Naoki. From Kotoko proving she could get a spot on the top 50 of a test to her taking remedial courses over the summer, the months quickly passed at the Irie household. Although she has yet to melt his heart of ice, its becoming more and more apparent that he feels a sort of bond with her. Perhaps their hopeful parents’ wishes are finally rubbing off and the two have a destiny together as a couple…
