Shinkurou x Murasaki
Episode 09 “With You and Me” at a glance:
Some of the truth behind the Kuhouin family comes into light when Benihana explains to Shinkurou why Murasaki isn’t shown in the Kuhouin family records. The Kuhouin family has been breeding its brothers and sisters for generations, but marrying outside women as a facade. So all the women, including Murasaki, become invisible and get locked inside the “inner sanctuary” of the Kuhouin household. Shinkurou and Murasaki are planning to leave the country, but go home first to say a proper farewell to their neighbors and friends. As they all feared, some of the Kuhouins show up later that night to take Murasaki back, including Murasaki’s own brother (who plans to marry and have children with Murasaki…). They beat up Shinkurou, Yayoi and the neighbors and take back Murasaki to their household, threatening that they will take Shinkurou’s life if she didn’t cooperate.

I’ve come to really like Kurenai. Murasaki’s a little annoying when she’s defiant, but very cute when she’s happy and acting (somewhat) like a kid. I thought Shinkurou was gonna bust out his arm thingie whatever it is, but I guess he didn’t want to rely on it anymore…
yeah, kurenai has been a roller coaster for me. at first i thought it had potential to be the best show of the season.. but the next few episodes had me losing interest…
but the last couple eps have been particularly good, so its winnin some points with me.
I think that this picture is great because it shows that they love each other or care for each other.
