Note***: Off the bat, I’m sorry for taking so long with this post. A number of things happened recently, including school and me losing Photoshop for a few days there. Glad to say that I have reinstalled it and it’s working properly now so i can give SS’s. Also, I usually check my Japanese against the subs for most of the animes I review. I could’ve done this post without the subs entirely, but I feel that a lot of things have the chance at being lost in translation.

Episode 08 “Go in Together?” at a glance:

In this episode, Chizuru and Kouta along with their friends from school travel to Chizuru’s mother’s spa. To the classmates, this is a normal relaxation trip, but to Kouta, it would prove to be his toughest test yet. Although he’s not aware, Chizuru’s mother is testing his relationship with Chizuru. I guess choices in men run in the family, because the first thing that Chizuru’s mother does is try to seduce Kouta in the open air hotsprings. In that short pedophilia-esque scene, you find out that Chizuru’s mother is not actually blood related and that she’s a nine-tailed fox.

Later that night, while Chizuru is tied up outside, they give Kouta some alcohol that works just like a love-potion or aphrodisiac. Chizuru is devistated when she finds out that it made Kouta fall in love with Nozomu. Although she tries to seduce him back, it doesn’t work. Right before Nozomu and Kouta are about to have sex, he remembers Chizuru and him and snaps back into reality. When the group leaves the resort, Chizuru’s mother feels confident in Kouta’s feelings.

Review: Like mother like daughter?

Although they may not be blood related, the similarities between Chizuru and mother are uncanny. Just to name a few, their interest in Kouta, body shape, and of course… the huge oppai! (which should have no relation since they are not blood related). Kazeryu and myself were having a discussion last week about how Chizuru’s breasts are on the borderline of becoming rediculous rather than sexy. But what do you know? Kanokon surprises us with another power babe.

We still don’t know who the mysterious pair of people that everyone is reporting in to is, but our discovering is in the near future as the preview for next episode shows them along with a new pair of ninja-twins.
