Murasaki in a kimono? Auto-win!
Episode 08 “Taking Care of Oneself and Cowardice” at a glance:
While Shinkurou and his harem are watching the TV, they are reminded that Shichi-Go-San is coming up and that they should celebrate it for Murasaki (who is 7). They get Murasaki all prettied up and travel to a local shrine to get their fortunes. After the party receives their fortunes, they go to get a snack and continue the celebration. Meanwhile, the Kuhouins are in motion, trailing their party and getting ready to bring Murasaki back and to hush up any loose strings. Ginko shows Shinkurou some surprising information that there is no one named Murasaki in the Kuhouin family. Shinkurou doesn’t have much time to wonder about this, however, as he soon discovers two Kuhouins at his apartment. After a short squabble, he decides that him and Murasaki need to leave.

Review: Wow, an episode that wasn’t extremely pointless or boring… This episode was actually pretty enjoyable to watch. Plus, we’re all satisfying our lolicon pedophile urges by watching Murasaki in a kimono.
Even though shes 7 years old and should really have no place in Shinkurou’s heart as a woman, I’m finding myself kind of touched by her sweetness and maturity. Who knows, maybe the end will show both of them grown up and together… 9 years apart isn’t such an absurd difference once you’re older and of marrying age. Besides, Yuuno is not a very deep character beyond the fact that her family is associated with Shinkurou’s martial arts. Murasaki ftw. (call in pedobear :/)

The less Yuuno the better! For much of her screentime she digs herself a hole, appearing slutty and single-minded.
Murasaki really did remind me of a little 7-year-old girl this week - so innocent!
I think that’s mainly because she spent almost no time with Tamaki alone. Apart from her little talk with Shinkurou she was quite cute this episode.
