Code Geass R2 episode 08 “The Million Miracle” at a glance:
Although everyone is surprised to hear Zero’s intentions of joining Britania in creating the zone of Japan, people are not exactly sure as to his motives behind joining forces. When Zero contacts the Knight of Rounds in a private conference, he tells them that he wants to be exiled and therefore forgiven of all his sins, letting him escape away from zone 11. When the time comes for Nunnally to announce the opening of Japan, the Black Knights finally reveal Zero’s plan. All of the million Japanese that came were wearing Zero masks and suits, and since Zero’s identity is unknown, they all planned on going into exile together, therefore escaping Britania. Although the Knight of Rounds were on the verge of shooting them down, Suzaku stops them, maybe in order to honor Euphemia’s memory and their hopes at peace.

Review: Suzaku, that immortal bastard. Well, not exactly immortal, but now we know that he will automatically do everything in his power to “live” because of the Geass Lelouch put on him back in the first season.
I had never expected this to be happening in Geass world… How long will Zero be able to hide in the Chinese embassy… and how is he going to continue the fight in Zone 11?
This episode touched back on a lot of issues from the last season… including the supposed suiciding bombing, Euphie’s death and Suzaku’s wishing to die. At least Lelouch really wasn’t abandoning his Black Knights, especially after the depression he went through last episode. If anything could have made him more homosexual… Oh well.

I’ve seen up towards the end of r2. I’ll tell u it’s hard to follow at times, but u wont want to look away. Simply captivating. I gotta say the entire show has been a mental treat… and bright flashing colors? YAY!!!

I thought this show was incredible. The personalization of every single character as searching for their own justice, which the show did a great job of connecting the viewer with, and then showing the evils and downfalls of their pursuits from another perspective. Plot got a little bit convoluted towards the end of the middle, but it wasn’t too hard to keep up. One of the best anime, story wise, that I’ve ever seen. Kinda liked the fact that the writers didn’t pair lelouch up with any single girl either. Kept it open ended.
