The Party Never Ends!
Yea yea I’m late…well at least I’m posting this before ep 04 comes out. Subbed that is…I promise I’ll try and keep up…if you even care T_T. Since ep 2&3 contained and finished the Yuuka arc, I put them together. It’s not because I’m lazy or anything.
¿¿¿
I’m not sure what happened here….it’s clearly upside-down (Note: I did not flip it…) but there’s no reason to flip a setting shot….it’s just random. Confused. Maybe it was supposed to show how abnormal the show was about to become, but I’m just grabbing at straws…
So this arc is all about Yuuka and her life before Operation Cozy Family began. Hopefully you have either already watched these or will in the near future, so I don’t have to go so much into what happened, but for someone so innocent, she sure had a pretty bad life (noted by the scars at the end of ep01). However, nothing can stay too serious in Kyouka’s presence, so there are still plenty of humorous bits. Plenty of Yuuka too…
A Challenger Appears! Wait what…they’re 2 of them…CHEATERS
It’s not because they were getting paid. It’s not cuz they wanted to prove something to themselves. These people knew that they would not get any screen time in the show, so they went to drastic measures to get a spot……………….they failed.
For a comedy, Nomad really put quite a bit of effort into this fight scene, which was a pleasant surprise. I liked how Kyouka was owning with a mona lisa (apparently authentic) before destroying it and adding in some important message I forgot about. But, this was by far the best moment, no matter how short it was. Anyways…it’s nice to know that Nomad is putting quality work into the actual show instead of busting all their money on the ED (a unique song AND animation for every character).
Okay so I would like to know how Kyouka was so easily broken by Ouka. I mean, he wasn’t even trying. Of course, Kyouka just snapped back to normal and completely dominated, but still that glitch…
On a different note, does Kyouka’s cell phone power decrease when she’s like this. I can imagine that it’ll be getting less reception when it’s all flaccid like that as opposed to when she’s using it at full power
Is that you, Suigintou?
Wow good job for Ginka…snatching two sisters. I shall claim that it is completely coincidental that he’s a metro (maybe actually gay, but we’ll find out later), but it is by no coincidence that he is a nice guy. Kinda like how in Shuffle! and School Days, the nice guy is getting girls. Now if only this could happen in real life….
At first I thought that it was a waste to have Satou Rina (Minami Haruka) voice a jellyfish, but it seems like she has a power similar to Kyouka’s cell phone, so we (Haruka fanclub) won’t be missing out as much as expected. Although imagining Haruka making those jellyfish noises is quite….
At least Haruka (Rina) still has good tastes, but whatever happened to fish are friends?
Have I seen this pose before…?
One of the things I’m liking about this series is that it does a good job highlighting each character. Kyouka could have easily taken over this anime, and yet right now she doesn’t have that big of a role despite being the most noticably main character. That aside, I’m wondering (pointlessly) who the next episodes will be about. With only 13 episodes and so many characters to cover, they can’t idle around (Kurenai…where are you going?), but it’d also be hard to progress the plot if they spend more than an episode discussing a single character (5 children=10 eps….3 to spare?). Each of these characters are so unique that I doubt that there will be a time where more than 1 character’s former life will be featured (co-feature?).
Have I seen this pose before…?
Apparently the way they save money isn’t by cutting the quality of the animation. Actually this is more like drawing what’s familiar, but at least it’s not very noticable. I’d rather have reused poses than shoddy animation. And they’re stealing from their previous works, so no copyright muck to deal with (unlike torrenters….those lawbreakers)
Anyways, I’m gonna be copying Ryo and dumping all the random pics at the end, linked as always if you don’t want to invest 20 minutes of your time in an episode…well ok 40 for 2 is pushing it…

Actually it’s hinted that the series will be around 24 to 26 episodes long, though the anime is going through the novels at a brisk pace (episodes 1-3 encompass most of book 1).
Nice. I had no idea how long it would go on either.
What? ANN lied to me? WHAT? The 5th sign of the apocalypse, brace yourselves!
Where do you go to get light novels?
Gasp!!! It’s like a cosplay of suigintou!!!!!
